I recently made a Depop

Which was labor intensive and annoying but

It stopped me from buying more shit I don’t need

I read that people with shopping addictions 

Buy clothes for imagined aspirational futures

But Kimora Lee Simmons is the only person

I follow on Depop 

And I don’t want Kimora Lee Simmons’ life 

I just think she sets a good example

For wearing Baby Phat into middle age

Also when I buy clothing I don’t need 

It’s usually for a far away imagined hell

And I don’t mean

Having two children with Russell Simmons

I imagine I haven’t worked for 6 months

I get called to direct some shitty fucking stupid 

Branded content for a pharmaceutical company

I have to do it for money

They tell me: 

Pull up to a Marriott in Elizabeth, New Jersey 

At 6AM the next day in business casual attire

And I’m like: fucking hell this sucks ass, but

Thank god I own a costume department 

For depressing and dissatisfying
