Trek

I thought I could write

a poem called “Klingon

for Dear Life” until

I thought harder

and realized that 

maybe this isn’t 

the crowd, and maybe 

a pun doesn’t make for

a great poem, and also

I barely know anything

about Star Trek, so 

now all we have 

is this little scrap 

of a poem clinging 

on for dear life
