Bunny Memory
We started using the term Bunny Memory
to mean when you soften up a story
to let it be passed around with bare hands
like when we said how
Sal and Blaine met at the 4-H booth
that summer and left out
the girl Sal stopped loving
who left for Pittsburgh.
That’s how we got to
Capture Bunny
which is like
when you ask your boyfriend
what's with the sword
on the wall and he says
Oh it's the sword my ex gave me
as a token of her undying love.
As in, James and I were at the airport
when he CBed how he got fired.
