Harder-peeling garlic,

lower-hanging moon,

shorter-lasting pants,

I tick tick tick these

and so do you.

we agree, something

is going on with garlic

these days and the moon

is getting harder to avoid

the moon-avoidant among us

can’t make it last, one

hundred dollars for these pants!

I stopped believing

in planned obsolescence

when the moon joined in

and the garlic, too

these bulbs aren’t

farmers little chargers

they’re something else
